Who We Are

The Ramatu Foundation for Girls and Women’s Empowerment is a registered women’s rights community-based organization in Makeni, Sierra Leone. It was founded on October 26, 2019, with a mission to empower women and girls through education, awareness, and community engagement.

Since our establishment, we have been working tirelessly to create a better future for girls and women in Sierra Leone, focusing on education, rights awareness, and advocacy against gender-based violence.
